Why is a commitment locked in my plan?
Understand fixed time, flexible work, and where to edit each one.
Direct answer
Fixed commitments and protected sleep are treated as time that cannot move. Routinely moves flexible work around them.
Why and what you can do
- A recurring commitment set in First Rhythm or Planning boundaries stays fixed so the planner does not quietly move a class, shift, or care obligation.
- To change a recurring fixed commitment, open Settings → Planning boundaries.
- To change an imported event, edit it in its source calendar and import again. If two fixed items overlap, Review your plan asks you to resolve the conflict rather than moving one silently.
